PURPOSE
- independent pilotage of ships in ice conditions and in shallow arctic areas as well;
- loading, carriage and unloading of cargo;
- assistance to ships and rescue operations in ice conditions and in open water;
- expedition voyages;
- support of underwater engineering operations;
- seabed research, search and rescue operations;
- fire extinguishing on board ship.
DESIGN FEATURES
Sea-going steel ship with an accommodation superstructure and an engine room arranged amidship, two rudder propellers, with one shaftline in CL and with a fixed-pitch propeller, with two bow thrusters and two helipads.
