The Design Office for Shipbuilding (DOS) «VYMPEL» is situated on the river Volga in Nizhny Novgorod, the center of one of the largest shipbuilding regions of Russia.

DOS «VYMPEL» specializes in designing and engineering of the construction of ships of the following types:

tankers for carriage oil, oil products and chemicals;
universal transport dry cargo motor vessels;
railway and car/passenger ferries;
technical service ships, including those for shelf development;
passenger and air cushion vessels;
